Matt Herbert is a Masters candidate at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, concentrating in international security studies and international trafficking operations. His current research focuses on the nature and development of drug trafficking related violence in Mexico. Prior to attending The Fletcher School, he worked as a threats analyst, dealing with transnational armed groups, drug trafficking, and human trafficking issues.
