Marjoriet T. Matute, Author of the DTGB Book series, also Founder & President of Devin & Tristan Give Back, an organization designed to help spread awareness and spotlight everyday people’s attempt to GIVE BACK.
After conquering Hodgkin’s lymphoma at 17, she immediately headed into the work place. Developing skills in finance, design, and completing her certification in culinary school created a well-rounded resume for success. Currently she is concentrating on launching programs to help the public battle common problems. Issues such as Bullying, childhood obesity and programs aimed to help reach the Latino community are at the top of her list.
At 30, she is now mom of two boys and hopes to inspire them to grow up aware of their community and health, since cancer has played such a prominent role in their lives.
