Maria Ehsan

Maria Ehsan was elected as a National Delegate from Washington state to the 2012 DNC Convention in Charlotte. Born in Washington state, she has been active on political campaigns since she was old enough to vote.

She holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and BA in Political Science from the University of Washington. While a student, she was a US Senate intern for Al Gore. She has worked for the federal government and the private sector. Currently, she is a marketing professional in Seattle. Her previous experience includes investment banking in New York, and serving in the Clinton-Gore administration and Presidential Inaugural Committee in DC, and Clinton Campaign Staff in Arkansas. She was also a Fellow with the Institute for a Democratic Future. In 2008 she led GOTV operations and 50 volunteers in southern Indiana for Obama-Biden. In 2012 she led the presidential precinct caucuses in her area, and serves as a Precinct Committee Organizer. She remains active in local civic, business, and arts organizations.
