Luke Bierman is Associate Dean for Experiential Education and Distinguished Professor of the Practice of Law at Northeastern University School of Law in Boston. Professor Bierman oversees the School of Law’s innovative curriculum, including the Cooperative Legal Education Program, clinics, and Legal Skills in Social Context, ensuring students are comprehensively prepared for careers as attorneys meeting the challenges of 21st century legal practice. Previously, Professor Bierman served for almost four years as general counsel to the New York state comptroller, who is the sole trustee of the state’s $130 billion pension fund and the state’s chief fiscal officer for the state of New York’s $130 billion budget.
