Khizer Husain

Khizer Husain is the President of American Muslim Health Professionals where he has elevated the profile of Muslim leadership on health in the U.S. He is also the owner of Shifa Consulting, a global health consulting practice with a focus on healthcare planning, policy, and finance. He has advised dozens of clients on three continents on universal health coverage, strategic planning, and outreach.

He obtained his Masters degree in international health policy from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the London School of Economics and Political Science as a Fulbright Scholar. When he is not thinking about public health, he is traveling, writing, or organizing family reunions. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife, Zuleqa.
