Fmr. Lead Staffer to the Senate HELP Committee

John McDonough served as the lead staffer for Senator Edward M. Kennedy to help frame a national health insurance plan. Prior to his appointment at Hunter College, Professor McDonough was a staff member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. He also served for 14 years in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
