Joey Poach

A producing student at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Joey spent most of his early life making short films with a group of friends in West Palm Beach, Florida. In the summer of his senior year of college, Joey was one of eight participants in No Nonsense’ Socks for America program where he traveled with his close friend, Daniel, through nine U.S. cities documenting the rise in the new poor but more importantly the people who have dedicated their lives to helping others. He hopes his experiences in volunteering and travel will aid him in his dream of making socially relevant narrative films.
