Jimmy Conrad

Former captain, U.S. Men's National Soccer Team

Before retiring in August 2011 after a thirteen-year career, Jimmy Conrad was widely regarded as one of the best defenders in the United States. His honors include being named captain of the U.S. Men's National Team on multiple occasions and playing in the 2006 World Cup and the 2007 Copa America. Off the field, Jimmy wrote a column for ESPN.com for 6 years, hosted his own radio show and podcast for 4 years, and recently finished up doing television work for the Fox Soccer Channel. He would also like to mention that he is the most handsome person he knows.
