Jennifer Edwards

Jennifer Edwards is a Visiting Artist at Point Park University, a writer, choreographer, and organizational development and communication consultant. She is a sought-after speaker and facilitator who has been called on by organizations including Columbia University Medical Center, Cancer Care, the Girl Scouts of America, GMHC,  the Jerome Robbins Foundations and The Juilliard School. Weaving her artistic work and facilitation with her passion for community building, Jennifer has worked on local and national projects including ‘Re-Cover-Me’, a spoken word piece commissioned by the NCADD-NJ; NCOR at American University where she led body-mind workshops and storytelling trainings; building a national board for the Museum of Motherhood with founder Joy Rose; and creating ‘Grounded’ stress management trainings for the American Heart Association, HUD, the DOT, the Senior Center Day Lounge and an iPhone App. Edwards is a guest professor at Skidmore College, a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, and her writing appears in The National Museum of Women and in an upcoming book on creative placemaking, developed by ArtPlace. She is also the founder / director of JenEd Productions, a company focused on education and performance and a partner at Edwards and Skybetter | Change Agency. Jennifer earned an MFA from NYU, and has supplemented her education with training in group facilitation and trauma therapy, as well as advanced study of Organizational Development and Change Management at The New School.
