Jeffrey Brewer

Jeffrey Brewer is the co-founder, President & CEO of Bigfoot Biomedical, an up-and-coming machine learning company on a mission to improve life for people with insulin-requiring diabetes. Often called the “Father of the Artificial Pancreas,” Brewer was a successful dotcom entrepreneur who gained renown in the Type 1 Diabetes community for his quest to see that technology be better applied to reduce the burdens of T1D, a challenge he pursued as a donor, volunteer, international board member, and later CEO of JDRF before founding his own company, Bigfoot Biomedical, to bring an automated insulin delivery solution to commercial reality. Brewer and his team at Bigfoot are committed to simplifying automated insulin delivery for a broad audience and delivering comprehensive diabetes solutions packaged as a monthly service.
