Jackie Ostfeld has over a decade of experience working to connect kids and communities with the natural world. Jackie is the associate director of Sierra Club's Outdoors campaign and the founder and chair of the Outdoors Alliance for Kids (OAK). She has spent years in the field as a naturalist and educator, teaching thousands of children about the environment. Jackie earned her Master’s Degree in Global Environmental Policy from American University in Washington, DC. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont and has studied and lived abroad in Central America. Unless otherwise specified, views are her own.
