Jack Harrison-Quintana

Policy Institute Manager, National Gay and Lesbian Task Force

Jack Harrison-Quintana is a queer Latino activist and researcher currently serving as the manager of the Policy Institute. In 2010 he was a contributing author for "Outing Age 2010: Public Policy Issues Affecting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Elders," and in 2011 he was a co-author of "Injustice at Every Turn: A Report of the National Transgender Discrimination Survey." His other work has addressed issues of sexual liberation, racial justice, and anti-genderqueer discrimination. Before coming to the Task Force, Jack did fellowships with the National Center for Transgender Equality in Washington, D.C., and Khemara in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. A native of Signal Mountain, Tenn., Jack earned his B.S. and M.A. from Georgetown University.
