Erik currently works for the National Marine Manufacturers Association and holds an M.A. in Media and Communications from Northeastern Illinois University and a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. His previous experience includes the Portland Cement Association, American Nuclear Society, Illinois Student Assistance Commission, and the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute. He resides in Chicago with his wife, Megan, his son, Flynn, and their two dogs.
