Elizabeth Gavin

Elizabeth Gavin is a law student at Fordham University School of Law. She is the founding-Executive Director of the Fordham Law Student Advocates for Sexual Health and Rights (ASHR). ASHR aims, in solidarity with community groups, to advocate for the sexual health and legal rights of marginalized populations, both in New York City and globally. Elizabeth is also a member of the Fordham Law Record and the Fordham International Law Journal.

At Fordham, Elizabeth has participated in the Walter Leitner International Human Rights Clinic, where she was part of a team that drafted an advocacy memo for sex workers' rights in Zimbabwe. Elizabeth also traveled to Nicaragua on a fact-finding mission to aid La Isla Foundation in collecting data and disseminating information to community members regarding labor rights. She also prepared research and drafted memoranda for the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) while in Accra, Ghana.
