Elaine Hall

Elaine Hall, Founder of The Miracle Project®, is a pioneer in using inclusive theatre to connect with individuals with autism and all abilities. Elaine was a top Hollywood acting coach when her son was diagnosed with autism. When traditional therapies did not work, she developed an innovative creative-based methodology, now evidence-based, to reach him. She is the author of two critically acclaimed books, Now I See the Moon, a memoir, and Seven Keys to Unlock Autism: Making Miracles in the Classroom used as a text book at Brown University. Hall also developed Inclusion from WithIn (I WIn)® a low-cost, highly effective way for organizations to become more inclusive of all abilities and disabilities. Recognized worldwide, she has spoken at the United Nations, invited to the White House, received numerous honors and awards, featured in the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, on CNN, CBS, NPR, the Oprah Winfrey Network, and profiled in the Emmy Award winning HBO film, Autism: The Musical. The Miracle Project, based at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, develops original musicals sharing the often unheard voices of individuals with autism and other disabilities. The Intimidation Game, an anti-bullying musical, starring individuals with autism, opened at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, toured throughout LA and will soon be available to be performed by theatre organizations everywhere. Hall is on the advisory board of the Center for Neurodiversity, in Colorado, and recently participated in a pre-show discussion before “Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” at the Ahmanson Theater. She receives requests from all over the world to replicate The Miracle Project, this past year bringing The Miracle Project Training and summer camps to the Mayo Performing Arts Center in New Jersey; to Brown University; to the San Francisco Bay Area; and to 50 professionals from Mainland China, Taiwan, and Macau in Hong Kong.
