Eileen is a mother of four, the oldest of whom, a girl, has an autistic spectrum disorder. She writes about the challenges and joys of raising a special needs child as well as the roller coaster of marriage, family, parenting and life in general today. Her work has appeared in national and local publications. She is currently working on a book about the ups and downs of life with her husband, daughter, three sons and two dogs.
