Dr. Jingduan Yang

Founder and medical director, TAO Institute of Mind and Body Medicine

Dr. Jingduan Yang is a leading physician, board-certified psychiatrist, and international expert on classic forms of Chinese Medicine. He uniquely incorporates psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, neuro-emotional technique, acupuncture and traditional Chinese herbal medicine in the care of patients with a variety of emotional and physical illnesses. Following family tradition, he is a fourth generation teacher and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, specializing in acupuncture.

Dr. Yang is the founder and medical director of TAO Institute of Mind & Body Medicine (www.taoinstitute.com). Besides practicing in NY, PA and NJ, Dr. Yang also practices medicine and serves as Director of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture Program at the Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Yang is on the faculty of Integrative Medicine Department of University of Arizona and he teaches Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture for the Integrative Medicine Fellowship Program. Dr. Yang is a board member of International Organization of Integrative Mental Health.
