Deborah Caldwell is the editor for new strategic initiatives at MONEY.com. Previously she held leadership roles at FORTUNE.com, CNBC.com, and Reader's Digest. Earlier in her career, she covered religion and politics for 20 years. Caldwell was a founding team member, vice president of content and managing editor at Beliefnet.com, sold to News Corp in 2007 after winning numerous awards, including the National Magazine Award for General Excellence Online. Previously, Caldwell was a senior writer at the Dallas Morning News, where she won a Templeton Award for reporting. Her work has been published in books, newspapers, magazines, and online. She is a graduate of Muhlenberg College and the University of Michigan.
