David Wagner is widely acknowledged as one of the world’s leading media and business communication consultants. Over the past 30 years, he has conducted 4,000+ seminars for 530+ organizations in Asia, Europe, North American and the Middle East including Google, Goldman Sachs, Hyundai, Nissan, Oracle, Wal-Mart, and Singapore Airlines. He worked inside the Prime Minister’s Office of Japan during the Fukushima crisis. David has lectured extensively on business communication at a number of institutions including Waseda, Temple and Ochanomizu Universities in Tokyo, the Institute of Policy and Management in Singapore and Denver University’s College of Professional and Continuing Studies. David is also the author of 24 books in Japan on business communication with translations in Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Early in his career, he worked as a reporter in Japan for the Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News. He was also a columnist for the Mainichi Daily News and Daily Yomiuri newspapers in Japan, ASSOCIE magazine in Japan and the Boulder Country Business Report. He also created and hosted two nationally televised 3-month series on NHK on international business skills. David received a Masters Degree from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in California, where he specialized in Japan’s economic and political system. He received his undergraduate education at the Sorbonne in Paris, Kansai University of Foreign Studies in Osaka and Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.
