Vice President of Global Development and Government Relations, Special Olympics International

David Evangelista is Vice President of Global Development and Government Relations for Special Olympics International. David is responsible for the creation and management of national and multinational partnerships and strategies in support of individuals with intellectual disabilities worldwide. David has focused much of his work on designing the Special Olympics global development platform, aligning global organizational goals to international development cooperation strategies and programs. This platform includes work with United Nations agencies, Heads of State, regional government bodies, private sector and civil society partners.

David has a B.A. degree in International Relations from the School of International Service at American University in Washington, DC and a Masters degree in International Business from the Caixanova Escuela de Negocios. He resides in Vigo, Spain, and is fluent in Spanish, English and Italian.
