Dr. Craig Considine's first book – "Islam, Race, and Pluralism in the Pakistani Diaspora," explores the politics of fear and the language of “us” and “them” between Pakistanis, Muslims, Americans, and the Irish. Considine’s second book – Muslims in America: Examining the Facts – is set for publication in the summer of 2018. Considine is known for his interfaith activism and his research on Prophet Muhammad’s relations with Christians. He currently serves as a faculty member of the Department of Sociology at Rice University. He holds a PhD from Trinity College Dublin, an MSc from the University of London, and a BA from American University in Washington, DC. Considine is a native of Needham, Massachusetts.
