Carrie Brillstein

Carrie Brillstein was raised in Los Angeles, California where many young girls choose careers in acting or modeling. Always an independent thinker, Carrie realized early on that she was more comfortable working on behalf of others - getting them or their products and causes into the limelight. She chose a career in marketing and public relations that proved to be a rewarding and successful endeavor.

Initially Carrie was employed as the marketing director for the International Institute for Medical Sciences in New York City where she was instrumental in the opening of health clinics for cancer research in the UK, Italy, and Germany.

Missing many elements of the California lifestyle Carrie found her way back West in the mid 80's and formed The Pacari Company. The boutique public relations firm focused on healthcare and beauty allowing Carrie to segue into representation of non profit organizations.

Five years after marrying legendary producer/manager , Bernie Brillstein, Carrie shuttered her PR firm and together they lived life to the fullest until his death in 2008.

An active philanthropist and serving on the boards of numerous organizations including: Cedars Sinai, Lupus LA, and the Alzheimers Association. In 2009 Carrie championed a new cause on behalf of Barlow Respiratory Hospital where her beloved Bernie spent the last months of his life. She created the Bernie Brillstein Memorial Golf Tournament
in his honor.

Carrie has the “leo spirit” which probably attributes to her willingness to take on new challenges and hobbies while still dedicating the time for family-especially her “91 year young” mother; Dorothy, and her friends as well as her darling dog: Lucy.

Carrie loves to travel, is a voracious reader and now a budding artist.
