Carol Es is a self-taught artist, writer, and musician born and raised in Los Angeles. Her work is featured in collections that include the Getty, Brooklyn Museum, UCLA Special Collections, and the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Carol is also a two-time recipient of the ARC Grant from the Durfee Foundation and a Pollock-Krasner Fellowship. She is represented by Craig Krull Gallery in Santa Monica, Ca. and is currently working on a memoir entitled, "Shrapnel in the San Fernando Valley."
