Caleb Probst

Caleb Probst serves as the education manager for the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University, where he studied education and theatre. He began working with CAASE in 2007, helping to research the behavior of men who buy sex in the Chicago area. Based on the research, CAASE created Empowering Young Men – the nation’s first prevention curriculum to engage young men in dialogue about demand for the sex trade. Caleb has facilitated this program since 2010, and now oversees CAASE’s team of prevention educators as well. More than 3,000 young men in Chicago have participated in discussions of toxic masculinity, consent, and being allies. In addition to his work in the classroom, Caleb has co-authored anti-trafficking curricula for the Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives and has presented at numerous conferences around the United States and Canada. As a theatre artist, he has produced plays that explore the causes and consequences of rape culture and commercial sexual exploitation. He is a husband and an adoptive father of twin boys.
