Bri Murphy was born and raised in northwestern Wisconsin before attending Wellesley College in Massachusetts, where she graduated in 2011 with a degree in political science. After school she decided (somewhat on a whim) to move to Nashville and pursue music, where she has since had the privilege of sharing the stage with many country artists. She launched her solo career in 2016 with her debut record, "Throw Down My Heart".
