Brad McLane

Managing Director, RSR Partners

Brad McLane is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Marketing, Consumer and Hospitality Practices for RSR Partners. He also heads the firm’s Chicago office.

Mr. McLane has more than a decade of executive search experience and has conducted nearly 400 searches during his executive search career. He concentrates on senior-level assignments for consumer product clients and senior marketing roles in financial services, healthcare, technology, industrial and not-for-profit clients who seek a strategic focus on their customers and consumers. He specializes in recruitment to public and private companies and has recently filled roles including CEO, board member, CMO, Executive Vice President of Global Direct Marketing, and Senior Vice President of Marketing and Innovation Services.

Prior to joining the firm, his previous experience includes a long career in executive search, most recently as Head of the Marketing Officers Practice in the Americas and Co-Head of the North American Consumer Products and Services Practice at Russell Reynolds Associates.

Prior to his executive search career, Mr. McLane was President and co-founder of AccuTraffic.com. Before that, he was Vice President, Marketing with Petrolon Inc. (now part of Royal Dutch Shell), where he oversaw brand strategy and creative development for this multinational, automotive consumer products company. Earlier, Brad spent five years with the Coca-Cola Company in senior product development and marketing roles, following a five-year brand management career at Ralston Purina Company in St. Louis.
After graduating from Yale University, Brad began his career as a senior accountant at Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in New York. He later went on to receive his MBA from the University of Chicago GSB (now Booth).

Mr. McLane is a current member of the Business Marketing Association and is Vice President, Board of Commissioners of the Winnetka Park District. Previously, he was the Executive Director of two not-for-profit organizations.
