Art Brodsky is the former vice president of communications for Public Knowledge, a Washington, D.C.-based public interest group, and is a veteran of Washington, D.C. telecommunications and Internet journalism and public relations. He is also a former speechwriter for Isiah Leggett, the county executive of Montgomery County, Maryland, having written on a wide range of topics. Art is an expert in tech and digital information issues. He is also a strong supporter of solar energy, having solar panels on his home, and has worked to bring the benefits of solar energy to underserved residents. He is also a strong supporter of public libraries, having served for seven years, including two as president, of the Montgomery County Library Board.
