President, Military Partners and Families Coalition (MPFC); Vice President, Military Spouses of Michigan (MSoM)

Ariana is the president of Military Partners and Families Coalition (MPFC). She co-founded MPFC in 2010 after being invited to speak at the Pentagon about the challenges facing the partners and families of lesbian and gay service members under the "don’t ask, don’t tell" policy. Outside her role as the MPFC president, Ariana works full-time as the Educational Outreach Coordinator at the University of Michigan Spectrum Center, the nation’s oldest LGBTQ center on a college campus, in Ann Arbor, Mich. She is also vice president of Military Spouses of Michigan (MSoM), an organization she co-founded in 2011 with other Michigan-based military spouses, partners and family members. She has presented on LGBT military families at several national conferences and brings her passion for social justice education to her work with all communities.
