NSFW Adults-Only Penis Colouring Book Adds A New Dimension To Mindfulness

'A lot of everyday objects look like d**ks.'

Feeling stressed? Not quite convinced all those mindfulness colouring books are working for you?

Perhaps where you were going wrong is you were having a bash at a bog standard colouring books with flowers and whatnot.

What you really needed was a colouring books with loads and loads of tiny penises. Penis ad infinitum, as we might say.

Before you put your croissant down and rush out of the door, we should add that the colouring book is still in the funding stages.

Created by two female architects who were inspired by the fact that most buildings look like penises (see, it wasn't just you), they've put together a video to present their case.

"The colouring book you never knew you needed," is the opening title in their YouTube video. "Creating 30 pages of one-eyed trouser snakes," they continue.

According to Daily Dot, the duo started on the book in January and aim to have it printed by June.

On their IndieGoGo page, the founders have written:

"We're both lady architects who attended college together in New Orleans. We learned 2 things in school: 1) That approximately 90% of buildings- and a lot of everyday objects- look like dicks, and that this is hilarious. 2) How to draw.

"We're big fans of the adult coloring phenomenon, but have been very disappointed in the quality of ADULT adult coloring books we've found. We wanted a great penis coloring book that's creative, intricate, and fun to color."

But it's not all fun and NSFW colouring books. They have also said that when they start selling books, they will devote a portion of their sales to sex education classes in secondary schools.

Medical Daily reported that according to Dr. Joel Pearson, a brain scientist at the University of New South Wales in Australia, "concentrating on coloring an image may facilitate the replacement of negative thoughts and images with pleasant ones."

“You have to look at the shape and size, you have to look at the edges, and you have to pick a color,” Pearson told Nine MSN. “It should occupy the same parts of the brain that stops any anxiety-related mental imagery happening as well. ... Anything that helps you control your attention is going to help.”

Well, that's certainly got our attention...
