As a vegan Londoner, with a vegan blog, I'm often asked for recommendations of where to find great vegan food in London.

The funny thing about these requests is that they most often come from people who aren't vegan at all, but who are looking for somewhere to enjoy a meal out with a mixed group of family or friends. So you'll quickly notice that not all (in fact, not many at all) of those listed below are fully-vegan restaurants, but all have some great vegan-friendly options. These aren't always marked as such on menus, so it always pays to ask the staff and check ingredients.

I think this goes to show just how great London has become for vegans, vegetarians and those looking to try something new (and to find out that vegan food really isn't weird).
